The Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was formed in 2005 from the partnership of Tattersalls and Kentucky Standardbred. "The Sale of Champions" is a fitting name, as numerous harness racing champions and millionaire racehorses have been purchased there as yearlings since the very first auction in 2005. The 2011 sale, held at Lexington's Fasig-­‐Tipton Pavilion, runs from Oct. 3 through Oct. 7.
