Showed some improvement with a nice even effort behind #6 in LC action last week.  Appears to be fairly wide open behind the fav, any further improvement should put her in the mix.

($15k Lex yearling) Never in it from outside post last week, and would still need to find a lot more stamina to contend for any of the major awards.

($140k Lex yearling – highest AM filly sold in ’11) Well beaten in her career debut, and doesn’t appear to pack the speed to hang with the top ones in here just yet either.

Shared Account

Picked off some rivals late last time into an unbelievable 54.2 back half to finish 3^rd.  Should have served as a nice tightner after the brief layoff, should be all systems go tonight for a barn that was on fire last week.

Think Pink

($75k HB yearling – highest YC sold in ’11) I was on board for the win last time, and she appears to have landed in what may be an even softer spot here.  Grinded by down the lane, no reason she can’t repeat.

Take Into Account

May have been the only one from the entire barn that didn’t fire her best effort last week, finishing up well behind #6.  She is better than that, needs a big rebound.  Campbell opted to her stablemate, #5, instead.

Solid 2^nd place finish behind #4 in her local debut last week, and anything similar should put her close once again.  Lands on the pole again as well.

Parlayed a perfect trip behind the heavy fav and eventual winner into a close 4^th place finish last time.  Lands in what may be a touch easier spot here, but still needs her very best.  Campbell opted to #4 instead.

($40k Lex yearling) Doesn’t appear to pack the speed to hang with the top ones in here.  Pass.

Time To Kill

($25k Lex yearling) Absolutely overloaded with trot last week down the lane, and finally found clearance up the inside to knock off #1.  Survived a brief inquiry, would have won by many if she found room earlier.

UF Tadys Donato

($35k HB yearling) Trotted evenly against tough crew in stakes action last week, but would still have to pick things up quite a bit to contend for any of the major awards.

Morningstar

Daughter of the $2 million earner Passionate Glide, her older sister was a stakes winner here on Sunday.  This filly trotted home well behind the two favs to pick up 3^rd last week.  Not an easy group here though.  Pierce opted here over #8.

Sina

Saved ground throughout last time, but was unable to fend off #6 to finish 3^rd.  Would have to find a LOT more to go with the top fillies in here.

Vintage Oaks

Launched a first over attack against #1 around the far turn in Bluegrass last week, but had to settle for a close 5^th after being unable to grind by down the lane.  Any smoother journey should put her very close.  Pierce chose #6.

Ma Chere Hall

($18k Lex yearling) Rode the rail to a 4^th place finish behind some nice fillies here last week, but now slammed with post 9 against another solid crew.  Mark Mac will have to find a way to work her into the race.  Your call.

Make Some Memories

Towed into it perfectly last week by the eventual winner, but was unable to surge by her rivals down the lane and had to settle for 3^rd.  Appears to be one of many with a shot at the minor awards.  Campbell opted here over #5.

Hobe Sound

($50k Lex yearling) Made an aggressive move to the top going to the half last time, and I was very impressed by how she fought down the lane in only her 3^rd LT start.  Should continue to improve.  Tetrick opted here over #3.

Aunt Caroline

($82k HB yearling) Lost all chance when she broke at the start last time, but I was fairly impressed that she was able to pick off a few rivals from last into a 54.2 back half.  Maybe underneath.  Tetrick opted to #2 instead.

Power Pack Hanover

($120k Lex yearling) Couldn’t possibly have been anymore impressive in her career debut last week, unleashing a wicked 54.2 back half while wrapped up down the lane.  Must respect.

Royal Engagement

Couldn’t keep up with #4 down the lane last week, would have to find a lot more to hang around for a piece tonight.  Campbell opted to #1 instead.

O Narutac Rockette

($11k HB yearling) Left hard from post 9 last time, and should be able to make the lead easier here in smaller crew.  Unfortunately lands in against #4 again, might end up on her back here as well.

No match for #4 last time, would take a complete turnaround here.  Pass.

Iwannabe justlikeu

Dove down to the inside last time and ended up finishing right on the line with #3 for 2^nd.  Should sit much closer from the inside post, any similar effort should put her in the mix once again.

Mattwestern

($10k Lex yearling) Didn’t have much to offer from outside post against stakes fillies last week, but now connections opt to drop in LC instead.  Overcame tough trip to win here on 9-13.  Fits with these.  Lachance opted to #5 instead.

Diligent Prospect

($20k Lex yearling) Picture perfect 2^nd over journey last time, but couldn’t surge by the fav down the lane.  Over $93k in the bank now, but still yet to win.  Only maiden in the field has plenty of runner up finishes.

Decent 4^th place finish last time after the layoff, and is one of many that appear to have a shot here in WIDE open crew.

Acquavella

($45k Lex yearling) Never worse than 2^nd against some tough company earlier this summer at The Big M, and now returns after almost 3 months on the shelf.  Q’fer was decent.  Is she ready to roll?  Good question.  Lachance opted here over #2.

($60k HB yearling) Tired badly late after an aggressive move here last week, and it’s possible that she does her best work off the pace.  Had been solid prior.

($8k Lex yearling) Raced evenly in her local debut, but would still need to find more to contend for any of the major awards.

To Dream On

($200k HB yearling – highest CW sold in ’11) I tried to beat her last week, and I think it’s safe to say that I learned my lesson.  A bit grabby behind the gate, but no trouble in cruising to an easy score.  Ton of talent.

Parlia Hanover

($90k HB yearling) Showed a lot of improvement last time, beaten less than 3 lengths although she failed to pick up a check.  No question she is on the right track, but hooks a tough group here.  Pierce opted to #8 instead.

Thistle Dhu

($60k Lex yearling) Appeared to relax much better on the front end in winning the LC last week as the fav, but steps up to the major leagues to take on the best of the best here.  I’ll wait for a better spot.  YG opted to #1.

Unleashed a vicious rally down the lane to finish up 2^nd behind #1, and I would expect similar tactics tonight for what will likely be a similar finish.  ICE COLD 1-4!

($25k HB yearling) Made an untimely break on the far turn while moving last week, but she appears to have landed in quite the shark tank here.  Not today.  Gingras opted to #1 instead.

($35k Lex yearling) Trotted evenly against #1 last time to finish a distant 5^th, and would still need to find some more speed to make any major noise against these.  No cupcakes in this crew.  Pierce chose over #’s 2, 6, & 7.

($45k HB yearling) Moves from the pole all the way to the outside, and I would expect Schnittker to be on the gas early from out here.  Finished up 2^nd behind #1 in $354k MA on Hambo Day.  I’ll use her under again.

($35k Lex yearling) A couple of decent AM works locally, but I will watch the first time starter go around the track once before hopping on board.  Barn typically brings them along slowly.

($8k Lex yearling) Blew up the board with a distant 2^nd place finish here last week at 58-1.  Likely retains longshot status here, doesn’t appear to pack the speed to hang with the top ones just yet.

($40k Lex yearling) Tired badly late after an aggressive move, stamina appears to be the main issue thus far in her brief career.  Would need a lot more against these.

($30k Lex yearling) Parlayed a perfect trip behind the eventual winner into a nice 2^nd place finish here last week.  With Sugar is back in stakes action tonight, this should be a softer spot.  Must respect.  Pierce opted to #7.

($18k HB yearling) Yet to hit the board in 5 LT starts, but she lands in what is likely the softest crew she has faced thus far.  Should end up with a nice journey from perfect mid-pack post.  Maybe.

($7k HB yearling) No match for the top trio last time, and lands in against a couple of the rivals that beat her here.  Would need to improve even more.

Gliding to Glory

Rallied from far back to pick up 3^rd behind #4 last week, and any similar effort should put her very close once again.  Certainly fits with these.  Pierce opted here over #4.

Pump Me Up

Barn was on an absolute roll here in the opening week of GC action, and this filly has been very competitive against overnight company on the smaller tracks in Canada.  Should really improve with the stretch out to the big track, and lands in what isn’t an overly tough group.  Live longshot?  I think so.

($140k Lex yearling – highest Dewey filly sold in ’11) Finally got back on track with a solid 3^rd place effort against similar company last week.  Lands on the pole in what isn’t an overly tough group.  Big shot.  Lachance opted here over #3.

($75k Lex yearling) Finally minded her manners last time, but was no match for the top ones in there.  Likely to sit much closer here from inside post, should continue to improve.  Your call.

($40k HB yearling) Not sure why she made the break last time, but I have been very impressed with this filly locally.  Lands in a wide open crew here.  I’m willing to hop on board.  Lachance opted to #1 instead.

($27k HB yearling) Didn’t have much to offer in her career debut, I’ll wait until we see some improvement.

Came up empty down the lane here last week, would have to find a lot more against these.  Pass.

($42k HB yearling) Has been decent in 3 local starts, typically always contending for the minor awards.  I would expect something similar again in here.  Maybe.

Flashed some improvement with a 2^nd place finish last time, but she did end up with a perfect journey after following the eventual winner throughout.  Not sure I’m ready to accept a short price here.

Made an early break in big bulky field last week, but had been very good in her Kindergarten starts prior.  Does her best work from off the pace, should be picking up the pieces late.

B L Class Act

We get a curveball here in the Pick 4, with a full field here in the Billings!  This guy was an easy winner here last week, but this appears to be a bit tougher crew.  Should sit close from the pole.

TK’s Karma

Pilot seems to have quite a bit of success, and this mare has been competitive against decent overnight company this season in OH.  Hard to ignore.

Got to follow #1 last time, but was unable to keep up with him late.  Would need to find a lot more to contend for any of the major awards.

Wolf’s Jann

Used hard to make the lead here last week, and couldn’t fend off #1 down the lane.  Mare has been solid all season against similar though, no question she should be blasting early once again.  Maybe.  Pilot does well.

Witch’s Magic Brew

Driver has hit the board in 13 of 14 this year!  Stamina appears to be the major issue with this mare though, not sure she will have enough to get the job done against these.

Chinese Cuisine

I believe that this is the most talented trotter in the field, but he doesn’t like to win a lot.  Lands in big bulky field as well where a lot can go wrong.  Worth the risk at a short price?

OH invader appears a notch or two below the top ones in here, would have to go the biggest mile of his career to knock off the favs.  Pass.

Saved ground but finished far behind #1 last time, would have to find a LOT more today from post 8.  Hard to endorse him back in here.

Has had some breaking problems recently and lands way out in post 9 in big bulky field.  Not a great recipe.

Chi-town invader has some early speed and he will need it from way out here.  Still asking a lot for him to hang on for a piece against this crew.  Not today.

Its Bush Time

Pilot always has a lot of success in the Billings, and lands on a talented trotter today as well.  Will have to find a way to work him into the race from the 2^nd tier, but any smooth journey puts him right in the mix.

Didn’t have much success in LC action last week, and now lands in an ultra competitive stakes crew today.  Not sure I can endorse her against these.  Pass.  Jody J opted to #8 instead.

($102k Lex yearling) I must admit that I am a huge fan of this filly!  Came first over against one of the best fillies around last time and still dug in for a close 3^rd.  Should continue to improve in 4^th LT start.

Aspidistra Hanover

($50k HB yearling) PASS runner up got in an all out slugfest down the lane with #6 last time before the two Hanover breds hit the line in a dead heat.  Lands in a contentious group here.  Needs her very best.

Frau Blucher

($21k HB yearling) Yet to miss the board in 10 LT starts, and comes in to today riding high on a 3 race win streak.  Sprinted home to an easier than it appears score last time.  No doubt the one to beat.

With Sugar

($160k HB yearling) Added hobbles prior to the LC last week, and that decision appeared to pay off as she dominated that crew.  Takes a big step up here and lands in the deepest div.  Needs even more improvement.

Upfront luckycarol

Fought #3 for the length of the stretch here last week before having to settle for a dead heat.  Has been solid against stakes company all season.  One of many with a shot in competitive group.

($22k Lex yearling) Perfect trip behind #4 last time but had to settle for 3^rd.  Things aren’t going to get any easier here, as she lands in against some tough fillies.  We can’t use them all.

($85k Lex yearling) Trotted home well after a perfect steer here last week to prove that she could hang with the top level.  Unfortunately lands on the outside of an incredibly deep field here.  I’ll wait for a better spot.

Made a break while in the midst of a 3-wide move on the far turn last week, and will likely be under conservative handling after 2 consecutive breaks.  Should save ground and sit close.

($5k Lex yearling) Trotted evenly again last time, and appears to be getting a bit better with each and every start.  Still appears to be a notch or two below the favs in here.

Hasn’t proven that she can go with a field like this just yet.  I’ll wait for some improvement.

Super in both local starts in Kindergarten action where she was taking on some tough fillies.  This actually ends up as a much softer spot, no reason she shouldn’t make it 3 in a row.
